Intolerance in Diversity

intolerance in diversity

if there's one thing that's bad
in life, it's intolerance
people have a lesson to learn
from crayons in a box

each one is totally diverse
and no two are ever the same
each gives a variable result
and lives up to its name

some cancel out the others,
if used together in blocks
yet they manage to exist nicely,
all in the same little box

green characterizes live grass
the yellow magnifies the sun
red and orange is the nature of fire
and blue ribbons show who won

without pink, there's no sunset
grapes are not grapes without purple
all colors round out the rainbow
brown is the color of maple syruple

groups of people need diversity
to make life full of interest
some teachers, plumbers, clerks
some nurses, artists, and dentists

we need to value each other
for their individual worth
in order to spread God's love
on this great wide earth
